The new edition of The Knitter, issue 47,  hits the shelves today, and I’m particularly excited about this one because…. I’M ON THE COVER!!!  Well, my yarn is :)

The main colour of the cover garment is a specially dyed colourway of Damsel plus laceweight called ‘Monet’.  Designer April George has done a beautiful job with the subtle colour palette – the stripes are Rowan Kidsilk Haze.  So pretty and summery, and all but the largest size takes just one skein!

I might try it in these colours for a more wintery layering piece:

That’s Damsel plus in D2501 and 2 leftover part balls of Kidsilk Haze – just need to add a 3rd colour..
